On February 26, 2023, the Head of the Department of Physical Education, Dr. Mohammed M. Mohammed, and the Assistant Dean of the College of Education, Mr. Safad M. Mohammed, represented the University of Zakho in a meeting organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at the University of Halabja to review educational programs in physical education departments.

The meeting was supervised by Dr. Twana N. Mohammed, the General Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs, and attended by the President of the University of Halabja and heads of Physical Education Departments from universities across the region. Discussions focused on evaluating the state of education in sports-related departments, enhancing students’ skills and personalities, optimizing their training and preparation, and providing the necessary resources for these departments.
